Who We Are
My area of interest is in using an attachment- and experience-based approach to help my clients navigate relationships, transitions, and other life challenges. I especially enjoy working with young adults navigating the transition to adulthood, new moms managing the stages of parenthood, and anyone else who feels they are struggling to navigate life changes or find the right path for them.
I also have a heart for supporting adults and families who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. With previous experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, I have found a way to balance understanding of behavior with that of attachment and connection principles for a more comprehensive approach to treatment. With adults with ASD, I truly enjoy being a support person for those who are looking to process daily experiences, perceptions of their world, or difficult experiences from the past.
I enjoy exploring a relationship-based approach to help people become more connected. After all, humans are wired to connect with each other, and when we feel more emotionally connected to others, we tend to feel happier! In any case, I truly value our relationship as a tool for change, and I operate with humor and authenticity.

I enjoy working with children as well as adults. With children, we often address big thoughts and feelings, behavioral problems, and parent child conflict so families can increase appreciation and enjoyment of one another. With older children and adults, we may reflect on current or past events to gain insight and develop effective skills for managing life's ups and downs.
Addressing challenges is often done well by considering the most significant relationships in our lives, whether they tend to be more difficult or more rewarding they have an effect on us. We are continuously shaped by our daily interactions with one another in our own little corners of the world. Together we set aside the time, space, and effort to process these experiences a little deeper. We hope to bring forth the skills and strengths you already have and work towards lasting change and a more joy filled life.
Additionally, we can do this work through a faith based perspective. For all of us, our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors come from somewhere, some belief system or set of values. Feel free to let me know if this is a framework you would like to use in our sessions together.
